Jealousy - Rakastaa

The second Finnpicks Disco Week entry is a tune called "Rakastaa" (To love). It was recorded by a singer named Anne in 1980. I unfortunately don't know anything about Anne. This might have been her only single. The most of her output was on budget compilation albums. The Finnish lyrics were provided by old stalwart Vexi Salmi. The original song "Jealousy" was performed by Amii Stewart (b. Amy Paulette Stewart). She had her breakthrough with discofied versions of "Knock On Wood" and "Light My Fire" in 1979 and this one was one of her follow-up singles, taken from her second album "Paradise bird".
